As lovers of all things involving diamonds and gemstones, we could not help but notice Meghan Markle’s stunning jewellery in the Oprah Winfrey interview. Many experts have said that Meghan choice of jewellery was symbolic, and so we have compiled a detailed list of all the jewellery she wore in the interview and the meaning behind it.
1. Princess Diana’s diamond tennis bracelet
Of all of Meghan’s jewellery in the Oprah interview, one of the pieces that she wore was particularly sentimental: a diamond tennis bracelet that was previously owned by Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana. What is more, the media reported that it is the very same bracelet that Harry had removed two diamonds from in order to commission Meghan’s engagement ring.

2. Second and third bracelets
Meghan is a fan of layering her jewellery. On this occasion, she combined Princess Diana’s bracelet with two other bracelets. It’s possible that one is a Cartier Love bracelet that she owns and the third bracelet, which looks like a delicate diamond piece, is of an unknown origin.

3. Stud earrings
Combined perfectly with her other jewellery, Meghan wears a pair of stud earrings that look like they could be diamonds, quartz or perhaps white topaz. Meghan is a huge fan of stud earrings; she had many of these timeless luxuries in her collection like the ones that she wore for her wedding. We also know that she loves sustainable lab grown diamonds and ethical jewellery.

4. Aquamarine necklace
Meghan also chose to wear an aquamarine necklace for the Oprah interview. Aquamarine is a highly symbolic gemstone with a light blue colour.
It is associated with harmony and tranquillity and also represents change and rebirth, which is topical for Harry and Meghan at the moment with their move to the US and expecting their second child. Aquamarines also symbolise loyalty, hope, and truth.
As a point of interest, for her wedding reception, Meghan wore an aquamarine ring that Harry gifted to her; it previously belonged to Princess Diana.
