In celebration of Women’s History Month we are excited to share a little bit more about the women across every department of the business here at The Diamond Store. Together they are a vital part of our business, and we wouldn’t be here without them.

Here, we take the opportunity to catch up with them about their time at TDS, which women inspire them daily, and the jewellery pieces that are on their current wishlists.

Ester Pintor Violero

Job: e-Commerce Merchandising Manager

TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOB ROLE?

“As E-Commerce Manager at The Diamond Store I take care of everything to do with our website. In my time here the website has changed a lot and continues to do so for the better. I’m very excited for this years projects and new features.”

WHICH WOMAN INSPIRES YOU, AND WHY?

“I’d have to pick Sophia Amoruso, I read her biography Girlboss, she is someone that came from nothing, had issues with ADHD and was misunderstood, yet became so successful – I love how she was so driven.”

On Ester’s wishlist…

Ester has treated herself to a few TDS pieces to mark special milestones over her time working here. But her current obsession? The Annabelle pink lab diamond emerald cut necklace.

Chloe Gold

Job: Order Fulfilment Team and Communications Manager

TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOB ROLE?

“I work as part of the order fulfilment team ensuring our customers get their orders as efficiently as possible. I am also the communications manager, ensuring all news and updates are shared company wide. I love my job because of my colleagues, who are so welcoming, friendly, dedicated and always willing to help.”

WHICH WOMAN INSPIRES YOU, AND WHY?

“My mum is my biggest inspiration. She exudes love and kindness and is the most selfless and generous person I know.”

On Chloe’s wishlist…

Chloe loves a minimalist jewellery look, and wants to add the Vivara diamond necklace in yellow gold to her collection.

Chelsey Taylor

Job: Head of Customer Service & Sales

TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOB ROLE?

“As head of Customer Service & Sales I am responsible for ensuring we give the best possible service to our customers before, during and after purchase. I love the collaborative work environment; everyone’s ideas and opinions are always welcomed.”

WHICH WOMAN INSPIRES YOU, AND WHY?

“It would have to be Sammi Jefcoate, I’m utterly obsessed! She is kind, honest and most importantly true to herself, which as a women can be difficult. Sammi’s social media is all about wearing what you want and how you want. She encouraged me to mix metals and layer. So in true Sammi style I say stack as many rings a physically possible and stay ‘weird’.”

On Chelsey’s wishlist…

Who said you can’t buy yourself an engagement ring? Not us! The Amora radiant cut diamond white gold engagement ring is top of Chelsey’s list.

Susan Ismaiel

Job: Senior Digital Designer

TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOB ROLE?

“As Senior Digital Designer I am the creator of the digital assets you see on our Marketing Channels. Being around such beautiful product gives me daily inspiration for my work.”

WHICH WOMAN INSPIRES YOU, AND WHY?

“I’ve been Inspired by Elsa Peretti, a jewellery designer who has created bold, organic and sculptural jewellery pieces that are tactile and are truly unique – I admire her mantra ‘style is to be simple’.”

On Susan’s wishlist…

Susan wants a classic necklace to complete her jewellery wardrobe, and has her heart set on the Wanderlust floating lab diamond solitaire necklace.
