Is your BF acting like a total fruitcake? He’s jittery, slams his laptop shut when you walk into the room and now he’s having lunch with your dad. What on earth is going on!? Don’t worry, he’s not off his rocker, he’s just about to propose! Continue reading
We would like to wish Sharon Osbourne a very Happy Birthday, who turns 61 tomorrow…. however she does not look a day over 30 ;-)!
Without doubt, Shazza is our favourite judge on TV, fleeting between The X Factor and America’s Got Talent. Each week she had The Diamond Store team swooning over which pair of drop-down earrings she would be modelling next.
We therefore decided to go back in time and pull out some of her best earring-moments, and pair them with our very own jewels! Continue reading
Word is on the street that Lady Gaga married her boyfriend this weekend, however when looking for her bridal dress, all we could find is Lady Gaga and her love for gold ensembles! We therefore filtered through gazillions of pictures online to pick our favourite LG fashionista moments.
The first outfit which we have picked is the outfit she wore to the 2011 Bambi Media Awards. Is she looking freakishly cool, or a freak of nature?
This outfit is our favourite! We think she looks simply stunning (and normal) in this golden gown which she wore to the Golden Globes 2014 after party.
The next outfit is an outfit which the singer wore to dinner in Japan whilst she was on holiday. Did she pull this off as a Kimono, as it has that style… if you squint your eyes and tilt your head.
The final golden outfit which we have chosen is this golden leotard, which cheeky Lady Gaga wore during her concert in Vancouver.
We could go on for days drooling over her gold attire, however we took a moment to browse through our jewellery collection to handpick our favourite gold pieces we think the Princess of Pop needs to know about. Wouldn’t you agree?

We would like to wish Gwyneth Paltrow a very happy birthday who turns 42 on Saturday!
For those of you who live in a cave, Gwyneth is an American actress, singer, and food writer, most famous for her role in The Talented Mr Ripley.
Since her birthstone is Sapphire, we have picked three of Gwyneth’s best blue outfits and added a piece of Diamond Store jewellery.
We have added a simple sapphire necklace to match this stunning silk gown.
It looks like GP likes silk, and to match this baby blue dress we have chosen our classic blue topaz earrings.
Lastly we have matched this beautiful midnight blue dress with a white diamond and sapphire ring.
Do you know some sapphire beauties? Take a look at our full range online http://www.thediamondstore.co.uk and Tweet us what you would like @diamondstoreuk
Playing dress up is every girl’s dream, and this is exactly what we did when we invited five bloggers down to our #MillionDollarBlogger day at Venture Studios in Knightsbridge.
The Diamond Store team were hard at work, sourcing the best outfits and hand-picking diamonds for the bloggers to model. Having raided Oxygen Boutique in Soho with stylist Hayley Korn, they then smuggled (loaned) some of the chicest outfits they have ever laid our eyes on, to turn these bloggers into the sassiest queens. I mean, how amazing does American Girl in Chelsea blogger, Christy Osborne look below?
Whilst we watched bloggers dive in and out of dresses, two pieces, skirts and play suits, the main question was what piece of jewellery would match best?! We therefore decided to let the bloggers loose and select the pieces which best matched their mood and outfit. After all, have you ever tried on a diamond necklace and instantly felt elevated in your mood? We like to call it the-diamond-effect, as quite simply, once you are ladenned in diamonds it is hard to not add an extra sparkle to your smile.
Starting off we had Life of Yablon blogger, Emma Parlons, followed by Fashion Editor Lisa Haynes. Next in line we saw the wonderful Gemma Knight from The Cheshire Magazine, followed by American Girl in Chelsea Christy Osborne. Last but not least, Nancy Gibbs from It’s a Lifestyle Thing modelled the snazziest evening gown to end the event with a bang.
To see behind the scenes of our event, check out the video below.
With huge thanks to Venture Photography for lending us their state of the art studios in Knightsbridge, to Oxygen Boutique for supplying the swankiest clothes a girl could dream of, to Hayley Korn for dressing up the bloggers, to Sara Ibgi for turning the girls into beautiful swans, and to Lauren Jacobs for styling their hair.
We’ve ‘turned back time’ to the 1980’s to handpick our favourite wedding dresses. After all, the trend this season has been Vintage.
1) According to Elton John, ‘there is something about the way you look tonight’ in this plush silk wedding gown and net sleeves. All that is missing is a classic diamond necklace.
2) Next in line we have ‘the power of love’ complemented with this outstanding figure hugging lace gown, with the most beautiful neckline. Our white gold collarette matches perfectly, highlighting the collarbones.
3) ‘I just called, to say I love you’, with this embellished silk dress with puffy sleeves. The detail is spectacular, and we have paired it with our classic drop down topaz earrings to add some colour.
4) The bride surely will ‘stand and deliver’ in this classic 80’s dress. The lace corset with beautiful lace trimmings takes The Diamond Store team on a trip down memory line. What better to pair the dress with a blue sapphire necklace.
5) Forget ‘woman in love’ for we are quite simply in love with this barbie doll ensemble. The mesh skirt with a collar-cut corset makes for the ultimate late 80’s bride. What better than to pair it with our stunning amethyst and diamond necklace.
Would you wear a dress from the 80’s, or are more of a the modern-day-bride? Send us in your dresses for a chance to feature on one of our blog posts! @diamondstoreuk
